Dr. Lifschutz dedicates extensive time to clinical research with specific focus and expertise in Depression, Anxiety and Alzheimer’s Disease. Dr. Lifschutz graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed his psychiatric residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at USC Medical Center. He also trained for seven years as a Psychoanalyst at NYU. While at USC Medical Center, he became interested in psychedelic drugs. In October 2019, he trained in administering Ketamine and was accepted into the MAPS training program for MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy. He is also trained in Harm Reduction and the Integration of psychedelic drugs. Dr. Lifschutz is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a member of several professional organizations. Patients appreciate his honest, compassionate style, which has helped them gain confidence and peace of mind.
